Tomo-chan is the most hyperactive out of the bunch. She is boisterous, noisy, and the catalyst for a lot of strange behavior among the girls. She clashes with just about every one of the girls at times, especially Yomi. Tomo is not particularly good at schoolwork, choosing instead to copy her homework from either Yomi or Chiyo-chan. She seems to be able to study and learn well if she puts her mind to it, but who wants to study when you're having so much fun all the time? Like Osaka, Tomo-chan lives for the moment and for fun.
Tomo is very competitive, challenging her friends endlessly. Unfortunately, she rarely comes up the victor as she is neither very knowledgable or athletic. She could become one or both if she focused on it, but Tomo-chan has a short attention span for such things. She is raw energy channeled towards the goal of fun at all costs. She is the genki girl.
Tomo-chan thinks very highly of herself: she fancies herself similar to Fujiko Mine from Lupin III. She dreams of being famous and loved, but at times has trouble even being tolerated, as her teasing can go too far. Nevertheless, teasing is how Tomo-chan shows her friends that she cares. She must really like Yomi.
Tomo-chan's closest friends among the girls are Yomi-san and Kagura-san.
