Better known as: Sakaki-san
Sakaki-san is a tall, quiet girl who exudes an aura of coolness. She's a woman of few words, which makes her seem rather a loner (compared to a wolf, by Kagura). In reality, she's a sweetheart with a love for all things cute. She detests violence and wouldn't harm any living thing. She is attracted most to cats and kittens, but cannot keep one due to her mother being allergic. The other, more pressing problem is that the cats she encounters don't seem to like her back. In fact, they either run away from her or attack her. This doesn't phase Sakaki-san at all, though it does cause her some consternation in her seemingly cuteness-deprived life.
Sakaki is athletic and admired (to the point of a crush by Kaorin) for many things, not the least of which is the size of her chest. She, however, is shy and easily embarassed about such topics. She is very sentimental and emotional, but does not usually show it in front of anyone she knows due to that shyness. Her love of cuteness extends to stuffed animals, for which she names and creates families. She can also be seen in public doing some strange things due to the cuteness she sees.
Sakaki also has many interesting daydreams, many of which involve a strange, yellow, cat-like being that calls himself Chiyo-chan's father. Thusly, Sakaki seems to have difficulty not thinking about this creature whenever Chiyo-chan does mention her father. If not daydreams of him, she tends to dream of being able to talk to and actually pet the cats for which she longs to be with.
Sakaki's closest friend among the girls is Chiyo-chan.
